Matthew 6:1-18 guides us in the importance of doing good deeds and spiritual practices, which are all valuable because they help people embody Jesus’ teaching through sacrifice and trusting in God. Yet, Jesus goes a step further to talk about the motivation behind these actions, as they should be done for God’s glory and not personal attention. Learn more about seeking God sincerely through these acts, as well as experiencing the deeper blessings that come from humility and devotion to the Lord.
