We believe church is about more than just Sunday mornings. That’s because we believe that the church is a body, not a building, and we believe that body, the church, is called to love God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, to love our neighbors as ourselves, and to seek to make disciples of Jesus, for Jesus, and with Jesus. We believe that the bulk of our calling and work happens during the week, in every-day life, everywhere that God sends us.
However, we also believe that Sunday morning is an important time for us to gather as a church. We gather each Sunday at 10:00am in order to worship God, to encourage one another, and to be equipped for the work that God calls us to.
Specifically, we sing, share stories, pray for each other and for the needs of the world, celebrate the sacraments (communion and baptism), and explore the good news of Jesus through scripture. We also take time to give, and to consider ways that we can serve, including with our ministry partners. We end each service with a blessing that reminds all who gather, from the youngest to the oldest, that we are called to love and serve God in every-day life and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
That’s the main information, but here are few extra things you should know:
- Coffee is available before and after worship.
- Nursery is available for children 2 years old and under.
- Children’s Worship is offered for kids 3 years old to 1st grade.
- We celebrate communion the first Sunday of each month, followed by lunch.
We invite you to join us for worship this Sunday at 10:00am in-person or online.
