Can you believe it has been 5 months since we started studying the book of Revelation? Well – this week we are coming to the end of our text – learning about the new heaven and earth. And next week will be time to wrap it all up with an epilogue of sorts.

We are turning the corner with Revelation 20 this week – where Satan is bound for a thousand years. Faithful Christians are resurrected and with Christ during this time period. We will also see after the thousand years one last battle and the final judgement. It is a chapter we have been looking forward to in this series.

Pastor JD will be sharing from Revelation 19 this week. This chapter will highlight themes of worship, a wedding feast, our union with Christ, the Church, and the second coming of Christ. There will also be imagery emphasizing the need for humility and repentance, as well as an invitation to the heavenly celebration.

This week we will experience imagery illustrating the dangers of the world and the contrast between worldly seduction and God’s kingdom. There will be warning of succumbing to materialism, power, and pleasure. Despite the dark imagery these chapters may hold, there is also hope – highlighting God’s invitation to redemption and restoration. We will hear the warnings of Revelation while also holding tight to the promise of God’s triumph over evil, as well as a renewed relationship with Him.

We will discover how these passages portray a scene of God’s judgement and Armageddon, symbolized by seven bowls. Our passage encourages us to trust in Jesus in light of temptation. It also emphasizes repentance prompted by God’s kindness, urging listeners to embody God’s love and grace in their interactions with others.

Learn more about three key promises revealed in Revelation 14: a glorious future for faithful followers of Jesus, judgment for all people in the end, and the pouring out of God’s wrath on evil.
