At Kelsey Creek Church, we want students (6th - 12th graders) to discover a faith of their own, see themselves as vital members of the church (present and future), and be shaped and equipped to follow Jesus in all seasons of life.
We also realize that students are busy and, at times, overwhelmed. Depression, anxiety, and other difficult issues are on the rise. That's why our mission and programming at KCSM (Kelsey Creek Student Ministry) is designed to connect each student with adults and peers who can walk through life with them.
Sunday Morning Spiritual Formation
KCSM Spiritual Formation Classes, which are available for students 6th - 12th grade, meet most Sundays*, September - May, directly after the worship service.
* On the first Sunday of each month, instead of having Spiritual Formation classes, we host a communal lunch for everyone—kids, students, and adults. Spiritual Formation Classes for all ages meet the other three (or four) Sundays of the month.
Sunday Evening Youth Group
(Almost) every Sunday night, students 6th - 12th grade gather for food, games, prayer, and discussion around topics that are relevant to students' lives. In fact, most of the things that we discuss are suggested by students. Sunday nights are a little less structured than Sunday mornings–which is part of the fun–but they are equally as significant as Sunday mornings. Sunday PM Youth Group is a great place to talk about real life issues with peers, and it’s also a great place to grow in your faith and/or to explore the Christian faith.
In addition to the regular programming listed above, we invite students to participate in retreats, mission/service projects and trips, and other special activities throughout the year. Check out the Church Calendar, which includes KCSM events and activities.
