Kelsey Creek Church is looking for a Church Administrator. In keeping with our vision to be a community hub to transform through the Gospel of Christ, this person will serve as our first point of contact as well as the “go-to” person for information about activities and opportunities to serve. We are looking for a passionate individual that is a creative problem solver, detail oriented, and has the ability to multitask and manage time well.
The Church Administrator is responsible for church communications, for managing the facilities use, and assisting with financial tasks. The person in this position will work closely with the pastors and other staff, building the agenda for staff meetings and tracking progress of the tasks at hand. The person in this position will be encouraged to explore new methods for connecting and communicating within the church and with the local community.
In this position you will use standard Office and Church management tools to perform scheduling, meeting and task management responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:
Administration (50%)
- Provide clerical and scheduling support to the staff and to church ministry and operational team leaders
- Assist the church Treasurer with accounts payable, financial reports, and the annual church budget
- Administer the church management software, including calendars, directory, and other functions as applicable
- Interacting with a variety of church ministry and operational teams, through meeting management and/or active participation on teams as relevant for shared areas of responsibility
Communications (35%)
- Prepare weekly communications: email (activities and prayer requests), Sunday bulletin, website info, worship service slides
- Maintain content of online presence (website, social media)
- Manage the calendar of church events and activities
- Facilitate engagement in the life of the church
Facilities oversight (15%)
- Coordinate the use of the church building (requests, approvals, fees, event staffing)
- Schedule and/or provide on-site supervision as needed during facility use
- Serve as communication liaison with community groups that have long-term arrangements for using the facility
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
- Be a professing, faithful follower of Christ
- Be welcoming and friendly with a professional attitude
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; willing and able to provide feedback in a supportive way
- Be able to confidentially and empathetically handle sensitive information
- Give attention to details with an eye for excellence
- Be a self-starter; able to work independently; willing to seek new information, training, and resources as needed
- Must be able to manage interruptions gracefully; be organized to move smoothly between different aspects of the position
- Proficiency with or willingness to learn a variety of software tools and technologies
- Graphic design skills are a plus
- Bookkeeping experience (preferred)
- Be/become a regular attendee and member of Kelsey Creek Church (preferred)
