A Yes or No Question

In the text, Jesus asks a broken man a yes-or-no question. “Do you want to be made well?” The broken man answers with what amounts to a giant sulk. What about us? When Jesus asks us if we want to be made well, how do we answer? And what does it mean for our lives if we answer with an emphatic yes?
