Kelsey Creek Church is looking for a Youth Director. In keeping with our vision to be a community hub to transform through the Gospel of Christ, this person will promote and lead the spiritual formation of students in grades 6-12.
We are looking for a passionate individual that is a creative communicator, detail oriented, and has the ability to establish connections and build relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and lead activities for youth, in collaboration with the adult volunteer team, that promote spiritual learning, facilitate community growth, and deepen relationships
- Foster intergenerational relationships and mentoring of the youth in the church (both within and outside of the youth group meetings and activities):
- -Recruit adults from the church to connect with specific youth for informal mentoring
- -Develop personal relationships with each youth of the church
- Facilitate identifying the gifts and passions of the youth and seek opportunities to use them in service of the church and community
- Participate in tutoring program at Kelsey Creek Church
Position Requirements/Qualifications:

- Demonstrates the virtues and qualities of a devoted, mature follower of Jesus
- General understanding and appreciation of the Reformed tradition of the Christian faith
- A gracious team player who is committed to the mission, vision, and values of Kelsey Creek Church
- Ability to make a positive contribution to the staff culture that aspires to hospitality, service, teamwork, integrity, and excellence
- Ability to understand and relate to students and to pursue creative approaches for all aspects of Youth Ministry
- Be/become a regular attendee and member of Kelsey Creek Church
- Previous experience with church ministry leadership and/or Youth Ministry, preferred
- College degree (especially in education, church ministries) (preferred)
- Basic computer skills required, proficiency in various technological platforms (Google applications, Microsoft Office, church management platforms) (preferred)

- Work schedule: Typical work schedule includes Sunday Events and 2-3 days in the office Monday through Friday, approximately 20 hours/week.
- Working Conditions: Due to seasonal activity, job duties may at times require additional hours and availability outside normal working hours. May require flexibility to adjust work schedule from time to time to work early or later than regular schedule.
- Reports to: KCC’s Lead Pastor and Administrative Team
- FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly 0.5 FTE (estimated 20 hours per week)
- Compensation: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
- Paid-time off: 60 hours per year and sick-leave
